LETTER "N' IN "AGAINST"

"It was important for us to convey the message that the original street mural was intended for, which was "Black Lives Do Matter", in a way that seemed 'bigger picture.' Keeping design in mind, we hoped that our collaboration captured the essence of progressing forward and togetherness with the intention of amplifying the voices within our community that've gone unheard. We chose our colors carefully so that the letter would stand out, bringing in the abstract element of making our figures blue, among several other brilliant colors. Our figures represent the young generation that we, as well as millions of others, are a part of, and that metaphorically we are on the front lines making change happen in this country, little by little, and it fills us with purpose. As artists and as members of the community, it is crucial for us to come out and show our support as allies, and to lend our skills and efforts to something that will hopefully inspire and impact our community moving forward."
