For this project I was expected to create a title sequence for a book I had read that had never been turned into a movie. I chose "Catcher" by Kalyn Nicholson. At the time, the book was fairly new, so I knew that no one had created a movie for it. The author of the book is a Youtuber I watch who lives in Canada. While reading the book, I was able to see how her life and town may have influenced the setting. At the beginning of each chapter of the book, Kalyn also included a song that she listened to while creating the chapter so I used one of the songs for the title sequence as I thought it was fitting. For the planning portion, I wrote down what I considered to be important from the book and planned to include it in my title sequence.
